The other day, something reminded me of a factoid I'd heard about rabbits being able to "resorb" embryos if conditions were bad. And I'd seen some comment about abortion not long after. And it occured to me to wonder how human cultures and societies would be different if humans had this ability.

I recently came across a pair of *very* anachronistic Zorro movies. both are on youtube.

The first, which I haven't watched yet is Zorro and the 3 Musketeers (1963). I looked at the beginning, and it explicitly states that it's in the 1600s.

I had occasion to look at a video of the opening for "I Dream of Jeanie". and seeing Larry Hagman as Major Nelson, I got a very silly thought.

It would explain a *lot* about "Dallas" if it was the result of Major Nelson making a greedy wish. Yes, even the "season that was a dream".
